You will discover that it is possible to survive on a few dollars and also that in some places even a few thousand won't go too far. What you do will colour and shape your experience of this multi-faceted city.
Every season offers something special and that's why tourists come to New York even during its hot and humid summers and cold and windy winters. There's always something going on in the city and you will never have to worry about things to do. In fact your only dilemma may be figuring out how best to fit in everything in during your holiday.
